Aromatic intensity: 8
Aromas: spices, dark fruit, earth mineral, farm, black pepper
Flavors: dark cherries, spices, black pepper, earth mineral
Balance: 7 (must be decanted for 1h)
Overall appreciation: 7
Price $: $15 USD and 23 $ CAD (SAQ)
Grapes: Monastrell 100% (Did you know that monastrell and mourvedre are the exact same grape)
Comments: The alcohol feels a bit too strong and hides some aromas and flavors when tasted immediately after opening, if you decant it for 1h it becomes much more balanced and very delicious. It will be a great choice for those who like full bodied reds.
